This boutique embodied Panerai’s dedication to watchmaking expertise and Italian design, as well as the brand’s enduring legacy with the ocean and innovation. The boutique’s design drew inspiration from Panerai’s iconic timepieces, with distinctive elements such as bronze, wood, and a remarkable corrugated glass that was both undulating and transparent, evoking the world of the sea, ships, and underwater exploration.
The boutique’s brass lights and sales counters incorporated wooden details, and a large wall clock added a grand scale version of Panerai’s submersible timepieces, featuring the iconic green luminescent numerals that ode back to Panerai’s rich history intertwined with diving and the Italian Navy.
The launch event featured timepieces, many of which were only available for viewing and purchase at the Sydney location, showcasing premier watchmaking expertise and dedication. Guests had the opportunity to admire and purchase two of Panerai’s most outstanding timepieces, the new-to-market Luminor Perpetual Calendar PlatinumtechTM and the Luminor Due TuttoOro.
